Election Procedure for Baladeepthi Area Committees

a. Baladeepthi elections shall be conducted along with the SMCA area committee elections as per the required area representations given in Table- 1B above.

b. SMCA Election Commission shall call for nominations through prescribed nomination forms.

c. All Baladeepthi active members can file nomination forms.

d. Nomination forms shall have provision for parental consent.

e. If sufficient nominations are not received in time (to be set by election commission) remaining positions can be filled from the floor.

f. All positions (Area Convener, Two (2) Area Joint Conveners, Three (3) Area Members, and Central Committee Member(s)) shall be filled at the time of election.

g. Candidates not present at the election venue can also be elected, with parental consent on the nomination forms.

Election Procedure for Baladeepthi Central Committee

a. Baladeepthi Central committee members from respective areas shall be elected along with the area committee elections as described in section 2 above.

b. Posts of Baladeepthi President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer shall be filled from the elected Baladeepthi Central Committee members through consensus at the First Baladeepthi Central Committee meeting held within 15 days from the formation of New SMCA Central Managing Committee.
